Cha-Um Forest Park is located in Cha-Um District, Petchburi Province in Don Masang National Reserved Forest. The Forest Department founded it to be a national park on March 4, 1992.
This is by no means up to the National Park standards but if you fancy a relaxed day amid some pretty scenery then Cha-Am forest park is definitely a worthwhile contender. Situated on the Phetkasem Road, it is easily reached by taking the Narathip junction when coming from the direction of the beach. Once there, there are monkeys and peacocks as well as some interesting birds. A lot of families and couples come here to chill out and to picnic. Cha-Am is only 20 minutes away by car from Hua Hin.
Geography
Most of this area is lowland and there are many kinds pine trees as well as cactuses. The forest is closed to the town, therefore in the future it will be the main park of the growing town. There are Petchkasem Road and railroad in both sides as well as the cannel. There are squirrel and birds.

The forest is very well reserved. There are many exotic plants such as pine trees as well as monitors, snakes, palm civets.
